Erie Intermediate School

Dear Erie Families,

 

I am thrilled to join the Erie Intermediate family as Principal this school year. As we look forward to the upcoming year, I want to take this opportunity to introduce myself to the community, staff, parents, and students.

 

With over twelve years of experience in education, including my previous role as Principal at Streetsboro Middle School, I bring a deep passion for fostering academic excellence, supporting holistic development, and building a culture of inclusivity and respect. My career has provided me with the chance to work closely with students, teachers, and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds, strengthening my commitment to student success and well-being.

 

I am a proud graduate of Solon High School and earned my Bachelor's degree from Cleveland State University, followed by a Master’s degree from Ashland University. These educational experiences, combined with my professional background, have shaped my leadership approach and educational philosophy.

 

Together with the dedicated staff at Erie, I am committed to ensuring that students feel valued, inspired, and empowered to reach their full potential through academic excellence and personal growth. I believe that collaboration, communication, and continuous improvement are key to fostering positive change.

Hello! My name is Amanda Prosser and I am the Assistant Principal at Erie Intermediate School.  I have been a decade long educator at Fairport Harbor Local Schools. I’ve taught multiple subjects, and absolutely love middle school. I have coached high school football and basketball cheer, along with a robotics team.  I am eager to work collaboratively with our staff, and provide a safe, engaging environment for our students.
